Using Student/Cohort Selector - Basic

In this section, we will learn how to select a Student or Cohort to work with in the SPAplatform.

Filtering via Cohort

This will filter all data, only displaying results throughout the SPAplatform for the students in the selected cohort.

Step1

Click the 'Student and Cohort Filter' icon.

Step 2

Click 'Choose Cohort...'

Step 3

1. Click the Teaching period dropdown arrow.
2. Click Class, Filter or Year Levels.
3. Click 'Select' on the cohort you wish to filter via.

You will now see the cohort you selected in the filter display, in the top left of the screen.


Note - The filter will remain active until deactivated.
To deactivate the filter, click the small X in the filter display.

Filtering via Student

This will filter all data, only displaying results throughout the SPAplatform for the student selected.

Step 1

Click the 'Student and Cohort Filter' icon.

Step 2

Click 'Choose Student...'

Step 3

1. You can search for a student by entering part of their name in this box.
2. Click 'Select' on the student you wish to filter via.

You will now see the student you selected in the filter display. In the top left of the screen.


Note - The filter will remain active until deactivated.
To deactivate the filter, click the small X in the filter display.
