File Naming Conventions

There are no rules on how a file should be named to ensure the data successfully loads into SPAstandard. However, the SPA team strongly recommend the following file naming convention to ensure all your data files are clearly labelled. This will make it easier for other/new staff to see what data has been loaded into SPA. It will also help SPA staff if you ever require us to support you with data entry.

TEST NAME/TYPE_TIME OF TEST_YEAR LEVEL(S)_CALENDAR YEAR

3. PATM_SEM1_Yr3to6_2014.xls
4. PATR Test Booklet 2_ Nov_Yr3_2014.xls
