General Spelling Age Test - Entering Data

In this section, we will learn how to enter data in the General Spelling Age Test for use in SPAstandard.

Step 1

Login to SPAplatform and navigate to Support > Download Templates. Download the General Spelling Age Test template.

Step 2

Open the template:

Click on the green button 'Input Spelling Age Scores' to go to the 'Spelling Age Data' page.
You should see the below screen.

Step 3

For each student, enter the Year Level, Name, Student ID, Gender, DOB & Home Group.

Step 4

1. Spelling Test Name - Input test details so the test can be displayed in SPA appropriately. This is what the test will be named in the General Spelling Age test menu.
2. Total Possible Raw Score - The highest possible raw score (if applicable).
   
3. Raw Score  - Raw score (if applicable).
   Providing 2 and 3 will enable SPAstandard to display a raw score percentage.

Step 5

Input a spelling age as calculated by the spelling assessment you have used, with ideally a . between the years and months.

Save the template to your computer or a school shared drive.
